Which one applies depends on the ZIP code, not the county. Same-day delivery reaches towns across North Jersey, among them Paramus, Teaneck, Fort Lee, Union City, West Orange, Wayne, Clifton and Summit; enter a ZIP on any town page to see which applies to a given street.

Order by 11 a.m. Eastern and the gift arrives that day, seven days a week apart from the holidays listed below. Homes receive it from noon to 7 p.m., businesses from noon to 5 p.m. The same-day delivery page has the details.

Where same day does not reach, order by 2 p.m. Eastern, Monday to Friday, and a courier delivers on the next business day. Homes receive it by the end of the day; businesses during standard business hours.

Five points worth checking before you pay.
- Wine, champagne, beer and spirits go to an adult 21 or older, and ID may be asked for.
- No signature is needed unless one is specified; a gift may be left in a safe place or with a concierge, reception desk or mailroom.
- No deliveries on Columbus Day (Monday, October 12), Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26), Christmas Day or New Year's Day.
- Track an order on the order tracking page with the email address and the sender's ZIP code used at checkout.
- Customer care answers from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern, with longer hours around major holidays.
